In the contemporary world majority of people use the advantages of the credit cards, as it is very convenient financial tool. Usually people receive their first credit card during the first year in the college or university. The studetns have wide range of choice and each student can choose the offer that meets all needs, wishes and requirements of the particular person. In the same time when the students apply for the receiving of the credit card, they do not have credit history and credit score. As a result, they receive not very advantageous conditions, such as higher level of interest rates, stricter penalties in the case of nonpayment and other requirements. Before using of the credit cards the students have to answer on the following questions:
- Are you ready to pay the bills every month? If you do not have part time job or additional source of incomes, you will not have an opportunity to pay the bills in time. Some students think that the parents will help them to repay the debt. Some parents do it, but the students have to understand, that they are responsible for these bills and they have to manage their debts wisely.
- Are you disciplined enough to pay the bills every month and to use the credit card wisely? Some students use the credit card on unnecessary purchases and after it feel huge financial pressure. To avoid such problems the students must have month plan and control the level of expenses and incomes. Such skill will be very useful in the future, as you will have to collide with different types of financial transactions in the life.
- Do you understand that the current credit history will influence on the credit score. It will also play huge role when you will apply for different types of loans.
